Have you ever played with gravity? Have you imagined what would happen to the planet earth if you increase the size of the sun? or what happen to the moon if you decrease the size of the earth? In this activity you are going to play with a computer simulation of gravity. You can even make a painting with this simulation.

Please try out two different web simulations about gravity. One simulation is made by a teen using the Scratch programming language; you can see some of BATzerk other Scratch creations here. The other gravity simulation is made by the Physics Edcuation Technology group at University of Colorado- Boulder. These are publicly available simulations that anyone can try and play with. Before you begin, however, let's see what Mike the researcher thinks about them.

Try it out!

Now that you have heard Mike talk about these two gravity simulation games, try them yourself. The Scratch gravity simulation is here and My Solar System is here.

Both of these simulations are about gravity and orbital movement. What would your orbital design be like if you were given the power to change the gravity parameters? Take a few screenshots of your design at each of these two websites and share with us your creation!! (Share here)

Simulations aren't always about gravity, here are some other simulations about science.
